Damascus Declaration, a regional group of Syria, Egypt and the Arabian Gulf states of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. The group was established after the Gulf War against Iraq. The declaration, issued in Damascus in 1992, included plans for security, political and economic cooperation.
